Alicia Overton

I am the daughter of an unknown western artist. I have been painting since I could hold a paint brush and am mostly self taught.

I am 47 and I am just beginning to show my work and although I have sold some to private parties, I do not have a list of installations (yet). I was born and raised in Pomona, California and currently reside and work in Rancho Cucamonga.

My paintings are a interpretation of my experiences and feelings. I don’t like to explain too much about them because I love that everyone sees something different in them and I like to leave it open to the viewers imagination. Some are representational and some are not…..my style is evolving. This is where I am now and it is the most enjoyable for me to paint. I also have painted landscapes and more traditional subjects in a more realistic style….but that was then and this is what I truly enjoy now.
